Fox attempts to interview a religious scholar

The interviewed author, Dr. Reza Aslan, who is pushing his new book about Jesus, has written about many other religions.

Oh, and he happens to be Muslim. You can guess how the interview went, but really, it's so breathtakingly awful that mere words can't do it justice.

I watched that "interview" also. I'm sure the responsible network doesn't want her to bash bill o'reilly, a coworker trying to make $$$ for writing a kennedy book, but she did. Apparently bill had no right to write it even though he was "unbiased".

In another interview reza said it was the jesuits that steered him back to his original faith. How about that, hippy priests just like the pope. I'm not religious now but was catholic once in my life. If you noticed our local bishop (non hippy priest) had to back track a little since the pope's flight back from brazil. People like reza and the jesuits may be the catholic Ob1's for they truly are their only hope.

I read somewhere that the video went viral, and the guy's book sales doubled.

Not only didn't the interviewer read the book, I wonder if she's ever read a book in her life. She kept repeating some inflammatory notes prepared for her by some intern, she couldn't even stay in the context of what the guy was saying.

She completely failed to understand the concept of an academic study of a religious figure. I guess the separation between church and education is absolute on the right.

Hate? I could never hate the mentally ill. Fox is pitied, not hated.

Fox inadvertently has broadened the discussion about American acceptance of Muslims, the truth about Jesus, etc. This is a good thing.
