Former president William Jefferson Clinton spoke at the Stock Pavilion on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus on Thursday afternoon, speaking to a heavily-student crowd in an effort to bolster the Hillary Clinton campaign effort in Wisconsin.
This is the second visit by a member of the Clinton family this week, the speech by the former president at the historic campus venue following a question and answer session held by Chelsea Clinton at Memorial Union on Monday. The events bookend a massive rally for and victory speech by opposing Democratic candidate Barack Obama at the Kohl Center on Tuesday, his growing strength in the state spurring these visits by Hillary Clinton's immediate family. She is expected to visit Madison sometime before the primary on Tuesday, February 19, but no details about any event have been announced thus far.
More information about the speech by Clinton are available in a report about the rally.
