He appeals to the best parts of our national psyche
Best reason to vote for Obama: He speaks to the best in our nation - inspiring people to believe in a tolerant, multicultural, democratic society.
Obama's least attractive quality: His vote for the FISA bill expanding government wiretapping.
McCain's greatest asset: He managed to change the subject from a disastrous eight years of Republican rule to a soap opera about a moose-shootin' hockey mom and her pregnant teenage daughter.
McCain's greatest liability: People might get tired of the soap opera and remember their own best interests by November.

Take John McCain, add Palin, and presto!
Best reason to vote for McCain: Sarah Palin is a lot hotter than Joe Biden, even if Biden has whiter teeth and the definitive Chatty Cathy routine.
McCain's least attractive quality: McCain's admission that he knows little about economics, but did buy Greenspan's book, does not inspire confidence when the nation's economy is in meltdown.
Obama's greatest asset: Wife Michelle and two darling daughters, but can he field-dress a moose? Can Michelle?
Obama's greatest liability: Unsavory Chicago friends like Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers and Tony Rezko.
