The Wisconsin Innocence Project up, Madison Rep down

UP: The Wisconsin Innocence Project. The team of UW-Madison students and law professors succeeds in overturning yet another wrongful conviction, its 12th. Robert Lee Stinson, 44, who served 23 years behind bars, is freed after the project exposed the bite-mark analysis used to convict him as fraudulent. Subsequent DNA testing also points away from Stinson, but the state could still seek to try him.

DOWN: Madison Rep: Madison's premier theater company tentatively suspends its final two plays of the season and ponders ways to survive its current cash crunch. To be or not to be, that is the question.
