President Barack Obama speaks on Library Mall Tuesday afternoon. Please use this space to share your observations of what's happening around town in the hours leading up to the event, as well as the speech itself.
The speech, featuring music from Ben Harper, is free and open to the public. No tickets are necessary. Entry is via a gate at the intersection of Park Street and the State Street Mall, between the Humanities Building and the Wisconisin Historical Society. The gate will open at 3:30 pm and attendees should expect delays for security screening. The event itself is expected to begin after 4:30 pm.
