We've got races for mayor, county executive, city council, school board, a few judges, Supreme Court justice and a referendum or two (depending on where you live) on the ballot today.

Thanks to recent events, including most notably Gov. Scott Walker's budget bills and move to take away collective bargaining rights from public employees, many are predicting this will be one of the most active spring elections in a long time.

Follow along here as we aggregate local Twitter feeds, add some context from reports we're getting and report anything that pops up during the day. You're also invited to add your own observations and questions. If you're mobile during the day, download the CoverItLive app and search for Madison to pick up the feed that way.
