Downtown Madison will once again be buzzing with political energy as the Wisconsin state legislature addresses the state's 2011-2013 biennial budget this week. Demonstrations both inside and outside the Capitol have been organized against Gov. Scott Walker and the legislative Republicans' plan.
The Assembly is taking up the budget today, and a long session with numerous amendments is expected. As the session continues, we'll be pulling feeds from Twitter about it through discussions about the #extraordinarysession and #wibudget. Follow the action here, and please add your own observations and questions.
As always, we'll attempt to pull in relevant Twitter feeds and call your attention to other online coverage. If you're looking for a mobile version of this, simply install the CoverItLive app and search for Wisconsin.
