The boys over at Revolution Cycles at Atwood balance on their laurels.
Crowds have not ceased to flock to the malls on the east and west sides of town. Hilldale continues to evolve, as does State Street. But many Isthmus readers cast their votes for stores that stand alone (Jung Garden Center, Odana Antiques, Century House) or in small shopping blocks on Monroe Street (A Stone's Throw) or Atwood Avenue (Revolution Cycles). Still, State Street remains a favored destination with bookstores, jewelry, clothing, arts and craft supplies and gifts.
