Smelt fry

In addition to the tiny silver fish (battered and deep-fried), the menu features potato pancakes, cheesy hash browns, coleslaw and -- for the smelt-averse -- chicken. Doors open at 4 pm; food service starts at 5 and lasts until the food is gone. The fries will be held Jan. 17, Feb. 14, March 14, and April 18. 7229 N. Greenway Rd., North Bristol, 608-837-6048.
