UP: Community Car. The local nonprofit adds two more cars to its fleet, one at the Copps grocery store on South Park Street and the other at the West Madison Senior Coalition on Segoe Road. Community Car members pay a monthly fee, plus an hourly charge, to use the cars; the organization pays for gas and maintenance costs. Community Car now has 15 cars available for use at locations around town.
DOWN: Annette Ziegler. The Wisconsin Judicial Commission decides the Supreme Court justice had a conflict of interest in 11 cases she presided over when she was a Washington County circuit court judge. The commission recommends that Ziegler be publicly reprimanded. The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, which filed the initial complaint against Ziegler, wants her suspended. A special three-judge Judicial Disciplinary Panel will now hear the complaint.
