Madison & Dane County Clean Sweep
Year-round facility near Yahara Hills golf course at the Dane County Landfill. Bring hazardous household materials such as oil-based paints, paint-related products, pesticides, poisons, organic solvents, ignitables, aerosols, and rechargeable batteries. $10 fee per trip; televisions and computer monitors are another $10. Madison Curbside Trash Pickup and Recycling
Trash: Only materials inside the tan bins will be collected. Bag your trash inside the bins. Automated curbside recycling is biweekly. Generally, it's okay to include metal, paper, plastic #1-#7 and clean plastic bags (placed inside one bag).
