UW Cinematheque hosts the Madison premiere of the final film by French auteur Alain Resnais. An adaptation of Alan Ayckbourn's play, this comedy centers on three couples that invite a friend to join their theater troupe when they discover he has just a few months to live. In addition to celebrating a dying man's life, the film commemorates Resnais' powerful imagination with surreal flourishes.
