Featuring members from Stoughton, Oregon, and just over the border in Illinois, Of Hatred describes itself as "Heavy (M)etal for for Heavy (M)etal Heads." Though they formed more than a year-and-a-half ago, the band really got going last spring, recording an EP that was released in September, and subsequently cutting a video for their song "Apprehension Before the Onslaught," based on footage from in practice and on stage.
This music video was just released and published online, and follows below.
The video ends with a note of thanks for the band's supporters:
This video was filmed by the fans... It was put together by us, Of Hatred, to pay tribute to them for their love and support... and also to look cool.
It was directed by Mike Anglieri, who also plays bass for the group. The other band members are Andrew Cross on drums, Joe Dunn on the lead guitar, Jordan Miller on vocals, and Josh VanEss on the rhythm guitar. More information about Of Hatred, including its bio, perspective on metal, and three more songs are available at its MySpace page and its profile on Mad-City Hardore.
