UW-Madison student and singer-songwriter Tom Teslik hit the stage on the evening of Friday, March 2, performing before a small group of listeners with a small cast of accompanists.
A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards) who compares his song style to that of David Bazan and Ben Kweller, Teslik has been working solo since his Moline, Ill.-based indie-pop band Arc Find broke up in the spring of 2006.
The live concert clip of Teslik performing his song "Flwhying" follows below, along with six other songs from his weekend gig.
Of the seven concert clips Teslik released from his Friday night show, three others feature him performing solo. These include his songs "Meggie" (here), "Describing God" (here), and "Mr. Moline" (here). There are also three concert videos of Teslik getting a little help from his friends; these clips feature him playing with Spencer Jenich on "Today's the Day" (here), a cover of the Beatles' "I'll Be Back" with Phil Fowler (here), and, finally, "Toilet Couplets" (here) with both Jenich and Fowler.
