Collecting MadVideos -- Butch Walker goes out to the Annex
on

"I'm in heaven," writes the Sunspot drummer in a caption to her photo of Butch Walker on stage at the Annex. The rock lifer -- who has been writing, producing, and playing songs for himself and others since the late '80s -- played to an enthusiastic crowd at the Annex on Saturday with his backing band, the Let's Go Out Tonites.

A live concert video of Butch Walker and his band playing "Over Your Head" follows below, along with clips from much of his performance.

In fact, nearly the entire Walker set is available for viewing online. These videos feature his performances of "Best Thing You Never Had' (here), "Too Famous to Get Fully Dressed" (here), "Uncomfortably Numb' (here), "Bethamphetamine (Pretty Pretty)" (here and here), "Race Cars and Goth Rock" (here and here), "Don't Move" (here), "Indie Queen" (here and here), "Lights Out" (here), "Stateline" (here), "Far Away from Close" (here), "The Taste of Red" (here), "Cigarette Lighter Lovesong" (here), and "Born to Run" (here).

There are also a couple of concert photo galleries to be found here and here.

If you have a video by, of or about Madison and Madisonians, please consider adding it to the Isthmus YouTube group or send a message.
