Foxy Veronica's Peach Pies have confident swagger.
Lust: perhaps the most famous of the sins, the most reviled and the most revered. If you're looking to indulge in a little lust, try the delicious local burlesque troupe Foxy Veronica's Peach Pies.
When we arrived at Club 5
Over the next half hour, the audience quadrupled, cramming into seats around little tables in front of the stage. We were met by our emcee, Sexual Chocolate, who kept us laughing (and blushing) with a steady stream of dick jokes and R. Kelly covers while the performers got ready. And oh, did they get ready.
The performances ranged from a Charlie Chaplin impression to a striptease involving a rubber chicken. An out-of-town performer unsubtly named Vagina Jenkins had our jaws on the floor with a tantalizing number featuring long evening gloves.
I challenge any woman to see a Foxy Veronica's show and not walk out feeling sexier in her own skin. After all the airbrushed teen queens, the anorexic models, the "30 Ways to Make Your Body More Tolerable" headlines, there's something infinitely lust-worthy about a troupe of women of all shapes and sizes owning the stage with a confident swagger, reveling in the perfection of their imperfections.
