Trin Tran's 'Dark Radar'

"Dark Radar," a new song by Madison musician Steve Coombs' one-man rock band Trin Tran, debuted on Pitchfork Aug. 22. It's the title track from a new album Drag City's imprint GOD? will release Sept. 4.

Local radio personalities Connie and Curtis hosted their last show on Z104 Aug. 30. Clear Channel has filled their slot with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, a nationally syndicated program based in New York City.

Washington, D.C. folk rocker Justin Jones will kick off a three-week, three-show residency at the Regent Street Retreat bar Sept. 17. He'll perform songs from his new album, Fading Light, which NPR has described as "powerfully magnificent Americana."

True Endeavors has announced several new October concerts, including Girlyman (Oct. 2, High Noon Saloon), Hundred Waters (Oct. 5, High Noon Saloon), Roger Knox & the Pine Valley Cosmonauts with the Waco Brothers and Sally Timms (Oct. 10, Frequency) and Diamond Rings (Oct. 28, Frequency).
