But it was the opening song about zombies (the living dead, not the band) that stuck with me. Maybe it was the way Lally rhymed "a zombie's exile is self-imposed" with "decompose," or maybe I'm just a sucker for songs about zombies.
In between songs, he made genuine conversation, telling us about the pizza the band had that day ('so deep there were whales swimming in it") and growing up in the suburbs. In fact, he was such an overwhelmingly likeable guy that by the end I almost liked Capillary Action, too.
