Where the blazes was the Inferno?
I loved your article "The Twilight Zone" (9/17/10), on area nightlife. I noticed that you did not include my favorite nighttime hangout, Club Inferno. I appreciate the Inferno because of its event variety. Plus, it's one of the few dance venues in town.

In your article you missed the Inferno. There are shows for the 18-plus crowd along with a variety of music and art. Past events have included dub, rap, electronica, '80s, and a variety of DJs. The Inferno [presents] live music in addition to having fashion shows and hosting Foxy Veronica's Peach Pies.

Just wanted to say how disappointed I and many other people are at your failure to highlight the Inferno. This is by far Madison's BEST CLUB! It's a place where art, music and friendships play along together!
Hopefully, it was just a mistake.

Author Emily Mills replies: The Inferno was a glaring omission. I and others have covered the club extensively in Isthmus, and I am, for what it's worth, a huge fan of the place.
Grateful dad
I wanted to thank Andy Moore for his column on helping his daughter into her first apartment ("She's Gonna Make It After All," 9/17/10). I know the column will tug at the hearts of many dads. It brought back all of the loving emotions of a milestone all fathers face when their daughters strike out on their own. It is a bittersweet moment I will always remember.
