Tomorrow night, Madison’s Common Council is contemplating pitching in $67 million on a $200 million project intended to bring a corporate headquarters, a hotel and 1,250 parking spaces downtown. But as Joe Tarr reported in last week’s Isthmus, some council members have numerous questions and concerns about the controversial project. The council was scheduled to take up the matter at its Tuesday night meeting, but is now expected to delay action until Sept. 15.
