Dane County experienced its first tornado warning of the new season on Saturday night, the sirens making a rare March appearance.
It's been more than 19 months since the last major destructive touchdown in the county, when an F3 tornado cut a swath through farmland and residential neighborhoods to the north of Stoughton on Aug. 18, 2005. A 154-second video of that storm has garnered tens of thousands of viewers over the last year, owing largely to its documentation of the incredulous reactions to the tornado's devastation.
