The Madison Water Utility along with our Project H2O contractor, Corix Utilities, will have an informational table at the Dane County Farmer’s Market on the Capitol Square this Saturday November, 10th from 9am to 1pm. Our intention is to share factual information about the on-going Project H2O and answer any questions or concerns customers may have.
Project H2O is an upgrade to an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), which allows for wireless communication between the utility and the water meter. Anyone interested in hearing more about the many benefits this system upgrade offers is invited to stop by and learn more. Likewise, anyone with questions or concerns is also invited to come by and have their concerns addressed by both Corix and Utility staff.
If you are unable to attend but still have questions, as always, our website is a great resource. You can find it here www.madisonwater.org.
Dane County Farmers’ Market
ONE MORE OUTDOOR MARKET
then the Market
moves indoors for the winter
The Dane County Farmers Market (DCFM) has one more Outdoor Market on November 10th and then continues indoors, every Saturday, for the rest of the winter. (It’s a year-round market!)
Here’s the Indoor Winter Market schedule:
Nov. 17 through Dec. 22 – Monona Terrace (One John Nolen Drive) - 7:30 am to Noon
Dec. 29 – No Market
Jan. 5 through Apr. 13 – Madison Senior Center (330 W. Mifflin St.) - 8:00 am to Noon
April 20, 2013 – Outdoor Farmers’ Market on the Square
Over 70 vendors have reserved stalls at the Monona Terrace. The summer growing season was “challenging” but farmers are resourceful and have plenty to offer for everyday eating, special meals, and holiday gifts.
Come indoors to enjoy warm temperatures, live music, and fun shopping. The Farmers’ Market is your “farmer-fresh supermarket store”.
