You know what you're going to get at the Weary, and thats exactly why its so popular. Consistently good local food, consistently good service, consistently great atmosphere. Expect to wait for a table; but once you've got one, stay as long as you want. The menu doesn't change, but they always have great specials that are locally sourced.

Really good food (the Tom Ka Tofu is a stand-out for those of us who don't eat meat and/or can't have dairy) even really late at night, generally nice, laid-back atmosphere, and very friendly waitstaff. I can't count the number of times I've been to this place and have never had a bad experience. Their Saturday and Sunday brunch is small but outstanding (best French toast in town!). The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy when crowded, but it's worth getting over for everything else.

Food is always good and so is the atmosphere. I had a bad customer service experience recently with a waitress and the manager that intervened was as mean and aggressive named Beau. Likely caught them on a bad day, but I can honestly tell you that I hadn't done anything to deserve THAT treatment. I don't drink and I didn't return any of their meanness in any way. I am happy to recount the experience in a forum - it was poor service in every way. I hope they'll be made to account for it.
