Cure Cabin Fever
"Legends & Lore of the Northwoods," drop-in activities/crafts for all ages, 10 am-2 pm, 1/31, Wisconsin Historical Museum, plus talk about Paul Bunyan by author Michael Edmonds at 11 am (ages 16+). $4 donation. 608-264-6555. As part of its Cure Cabin Fever series, the museum brings in Michael Edmonds, author of "Out of the Northwoods: The Many Lives of Paul Bunyan," to explore the truth behind the larger-than-life character, his larger-than-life ax and his larger-than-life blue ox, Babe. Hands-on activities for your little lumberjacks and lumberjills include making a Hodag-inspired monster and a felt Paul Bunyan beard.
